The application is based to Java Web Start technology and Java version 1.6 or newer installed to your computer is needed.

To view family trees you need Acrobat Reader application. At least Acrobat Reader 8 is needed.

You can use application without registering to service, but in that case the "SPECIMEN" text is printed to each family tree page.

Your email address is used for username to service.

The registration contains two steps

1. You create username and password for you. After it the service sends a confirmation mail to your mail adderss
2. Click the actiovation link in the email which leads you to the confirmation page.
